The GIHS Tech Wiki is a website designed to provide students, teachers and parents with information and tutorials on how to utilize technology at Glenunga International High School. This website includes guides to completing certain tasks and operations on your laptop or mac as well as fixes to certain problems that may arise.
2. I'm new here, where do I begin? There are many things that you can do at this wiki! For a start, you can choose to browse through our resource database and learn many things regarding the school's technology. You can do this by either navigating by our by out navigation panel on the right or specifically type in queries about our school's technology using the "Search Wiki" box on the right. There is also the option of engaging in discussions regarding our school technology and maybe help out a few people while you are there ;-) Alternatively, you can just start a chat thread and talk about off topics with your friends. The wiki has also a selection of videos and media regarding the GLUG at GIHS which are quite entertaining to watch :)
3. Okay, so how do I find what I'm looking for? The wiki is full of resources which include articles, images as well as videos. Each of these resources are allocated a tag which categorizes each of these. Simply type into the "Search Wiki" box on the right panel words that commonly used describe what you want. For example, the most common tags used are: Guides, Fixes, General Information, Macs, Laptops Internet, Software, Hardware, Customize and Network. Further software/hardware specific tags such as Adobe or Photoshop are also used. Any articles that have tags or a word in their title that matches your search query will be displayed.
